The kids and I were sitting on the floor yesterday eating a snack and drinking glasses of milk. Isabel (my 4, almost 5 year old) spilled her glass of milk on the floor and proceeded to throw a temper tantrum when I asked her to help clean it up. While I was dealing with Isabel, Ellie (my barely 1 year old) quietly walked over to the baby wipes, grabbed one and came back to clean it up herself. It was the most amazing thing I had ever seen.

On a separate occasion this morning, Juliet was running with so much exuberance that she smacked into a wall and kerplopped on her little tushy. When she started screaming bloody murder, Ellie walked over and started patting her on the back. It ended up being more like wild crazy smacks because she can't quite control her arms as well as she probably wanted to... but she was clearly trying to comfort her. All 3 of my little goobers never cease to amaze me.
